Find a player before sending a Bae request

1. Open Phone → Contacts → Find a player. Search the username, with or without a leading @.
2. Use Add for the matching player, then open Messages or Chat from their card.
3. At your current venue, People here opens nearby players’ cards without a username search.
4. Check the relationship score and available requests on the player card.

A Lagos Life Bae must be another player who accepts the request. Contacts gives you a way to find that player again, including when you are at different venues; adding a contact alone does not create a dating relationship. Search uses the username, so a similar display name is not enough to identify the person.

A connection error and an empty search result need different responses. Reconnect after an error; for an empty result, check the username supplied by the other player. Manage accepted Bae relationships in Family.

How to get a Lagos Life Bae at relationship 40

The Lagos Life Bae request, Ask to be my Bae, opens when the relationship score reaches 40, you have fewer than four partners and the target is not already your partner. A score of 39 is below the request threshold; 40 makes the action eligible when the other conditions are satisfied.

The action sends an invitation. A pending request is still waiting for the other player, while an accepted request creates the relationship in Family. Increasing the score further does not accept an unanswered invitation. If the player already appears as your partner, open that Family entry instead of trying to add the same Bae again.

The four-partner limit applies to occupied partner slots, not to how many people are in Contacts. With three partners, one slot remains; with four, a higher score cannot create a fifth. The family also has a separate maximum of three children, so those two limits should not be combined into one count.

Move in together: shared home and rent payer

1. Open your Bae in Family → Living together → Move in together.
2. Read the home and host named in the invitation.
3. Send or accept the move-in invitation, then check the shared-home status.
4. Use the accepted household’s beds and kitchen. The host remains responsible for that home’s rent.

Choose the host by the home you will share and its next bill. Mushin’s base weekly rent is ₦2,400; a host with ₦16,000 has ₦13,600 left after one unpaid rent bill, before food and other spending. A Yaba home’s ₦6,000 base rent leaves ₦10,000 from the same wallet. Cohabitation does not erase that difference in housing cost.

An ordinary host can allow a visitor into the house and enable the kitchen, but the visitor cooks with their own groceries. Guest kitchen access does not count as an accepted move-in invitation. Check housing and rent before changing which home will host the relationship, especially if other city homes still have bills.

Lagos Life relationships: proposal and wedding timeline

Dating and engagement count full 24-hour periods. If an accepted dating relationship starts at 18:00 on Monday, proposal eligibility opens at 18:00 on Thursday. Three fast in-game days do not complete those 72 real hours.

Only an accepted proposal starts the engagement clock. If the proposal is accepted at 20:00 on Thursday, the one-day wedding wait ends at 20:00 on Friday, even though proposal eligibility opened two hours earlier. Family’s elapsed dating and engagement days tell you which wait belongs to the action currently locked.

The base ring and wedding steps total ₦650,000. That is ₦150,000 for the ring plus ₦500,000 for the wedding, before later package or venue choices. A quote already marked paid should not be deducted again when you plan the next step. Keep the ring payment separate from the later wedding payment rather than assuming one purchase settles both.

Why is the Bae, proposal or move-in button locked?

A Bae can meet the score requirement while a proposal remains unavailable: the proposal uses dating duration and its own price. For example, a ₦140,000 wallet is ₦10,000 short of the base ring even after the three-day wait ends. If rent is also unpaid, reserve it first in the budget planner to find the actual cash shortage.

A four-day Bae plan: time and cash together

From the start of accepted dating, the earliest base wedding path takes four full real days: three before proposing, then one after an immediately accepted engagement. A later response shifts the second wait; the calendar does not promise acceptance at the first eligible moment.

With ₦700,000 reserved for both base payments, spending ₦650,000 leaves ₦50,000. If your shared Yaba home then has a ₦6,000 rent bill unpaid, the host has ₦44,000 left before meals, travel or wedding extras. This example assumes those are the only unpaid costs and that both quotes remain at base price. Add the household’s actual bills before choosing extras.
